The Pet Manager Story: Global Scale, Personal Heart
Every great piece of software starts with a problem that needs solving. For us, that problem was a massive, double A3 paper register sitting on the front desk of a local pet resort back in 2013.
From a Paper Trail to the Cloud
Our story began in Coolum Beach, Australia. While I and my team at my IT firm, OJ Networks, were building a website for a local boarding facility, we noticed something startling: the entire business—hundreds of bookings, customer and pet information and vaccinations —was being managed entirely by hand.
When we searched for a digital solution to help them modernize, we found that the existing options were either stuck in the past or just not built correctly. I knew there had to be a better way, so we decided to build it. What started as a custom tool for one kennel has since evolved into a leading management suite used by facilities worldwide.
Completely Australian Made & Never Outsourced
From day one, we’ve held a firm belief in the integrity of our code. Although Pet Manager is built for the global Pet Service Market, we have always coded in house in Australia. Every single feature and update is built by our own direct employees. By keeping our development in-house, we ensure that the people writing the code are the same people who understand our vision and care about your business's success.

To ensure the platform received the dedicated innovation it deserved, I sold OJ Networks to focus 100% on Pet Manager as its own standalone company. This transition was my commitment to the global pet care community to make Pet Manager the most comprehensive tool on the market
